Snack Simple & Healthy: Celery & Peanut Butter

When I was a kid my grandmother would serve this as an appetizer before a big family dinner. This simply crunchy snack of just celery and peanut butter provides protein, a healthy fat and a serving of vegetables.

Servings: 1 Serving

Ingredients

  • 3-4 stalks celery
  • 2 tbs peanut butter

Directions

Simply grab 3 or more stalks of celery, rince them off to remove any dirt, dry and either slather them with the peanut butter or cut the stalks into bite size pieces like you see in this image and dip.

NOTES:

  • 1 tbs of penut butter spreads nicely onto one stalk of celery.
  • The inner stalks are sweeter and the outer ones are crunchier and saltier.
  • The peanuts in this image are decorative. This snack includes just peanut butter and celery.
